There are two kinds of people amongst the movie-goers. One kind wants to know the main plot beforehand. The other kind would hate to know anything at all. The funny thing about life is that whether we want to or not, nobody knows what is going to happen next.
Herein, according to me, lies the thrill of life. No matter how many psychics or palm readers you visit, you never get a glimpse of the “big picture”. It remains obscured, till the very moment it was destined to unravel.
It is upto us, whether we spend the time on our hands in anxiety or hopelessness or positivity. Another take on this could be letting things be till they actually do. You know, “thinking about crossing the river when you get to it.”
“As we drive along this road called life, occasionally a gal will find herself a little lost. And when that happens, I guess she has to let go of the coulda, woulda, shoulda, buckle up and just keep going.”
– Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City
You have only one life. Enjoy it. Enjoy it’s thrill.
