Confused? As to what to choose? It may be related to something as serious as your career option and life partner or as silly as the flavour of ice-cream to try. But there it is, staring in your face — a choice to be made.
So what do you do? See, I am all for a detailed weighing of all sides, complete with their long-term future advantages and disadvantages. But if you are someone who has been there and done all of it too, then you will understand me all too well. For it is a fact of life that no matter how hard you plan, there WILL be surprises. Some really nasty, some really sweet. That is when you question your entire process of weighing and planning and weighing more and planning yet more. After all, the brain takes into account only what it sees and hears.
But there is something more than the five senses which can guide you. Try it. It will guide you. It is called your sixth sense or gut feeling. As mysterious as it seems, it is right — like 99.9% of the time!!
So the next time you don’t know what to do, go with your gut feeling. It might be risky. It might be crazy. But I promise, it will be worth it.
