Five letters
Two syllables
One small word
One big meaning
Easy for some
Difficult for others
Both in terms of
Giving and accepting
If an excuse,
Then nothing.
If really meant,
Then everything.
Can it heal?
Not really.
But it’s a start,
So say it.
Don’t be shy
To be sorry.
For it is a virtue
Of only the courageous.
Love the line “For it is a virtue of only the courageous” … love this piece, Mia …

Thanks, Mia! I have been well, just busy! Retired life for my wife and I is a never-ending succession of days of pickleball and golf, and with spring almost here it is going to get even busier. I’ve been here periodically, quietly reading posts from those that I follow every morning before I begin my day. The last week and a half I have been catching up somewhat though, as we had friends visiting from the lower mainland. Anyway, it’s good to be back now, and I loved “Sorry” …
