Barefoot on Grass

Once in a while,
Take off those sneakers,
Take off those socks,
To step barefoot on the grass.

Allow it to touch your soles.
Allow its tips
To gently tingle them,
To quietly relax them.

Once in a while,
Break down the barriers
Between nature and you,
To step out of your bubble.

Allow yourself to feel
A part of nature
As you truly are,
To know your true self.

Once in a while,
Feel the grass.
Once in a while,
Let yourself be.
