Precisely so, Mia! Those for whom we yearn inspire us to strive and to put forward our very best. They fire our dreams, not only of them, but of the better selves we hope to be.
Often, though, the stars don’t align, and our efforts are all for naught.
Are they, though? Improvement, once unleashed, seeks an appreciative audience many places, not just where it initially was directed. Look about you. The distant lamp may not glow, but your radiance has ignited your surroundings.

Although, things are not exactly perfectly well here in India. We are observing a nationwide lockdown to prevent it from getting out of hand. Which country are you from and how is it going there?

Are you from India? I am from there too. However, I reside in Singapore now. We are going to have a lockdown from this Wednesday till the first week of May. Things are not great, but they are manageable. Thank you for your kind wishes.
