My apologies. I can see where the confusion came from: I forgot to retype the rest of the comment before posting. It didn’t need the quote marks either 🤦🏻♂️Yesterday was a long day, lol
What I meant to comment/say was: if there’s three people in the “relationship” and one felt the need to choose, then it’s technically a choice but not really. Because if someone needed to make a choice then their heart wasn’t fully committed to either one. So no matter the outcome, they all lose. (Still kind of confusing, I suppose.)
Long story short: the tiny tale got me thinking 🙂 Forgive my rambling.
Hey, that’s okay. No need to be sorry. 🙂
Thank you so much for taking out the time & making the effort to make me understand. And now that I’m sure that the “oof” was for me, I’m so glad! 😁😁 Because that’s an expression that comes to me only when I really love something.
Thanks a ton for your appreciation, C. D!
This is a very thought-provoking piece Mia. Why can’t couples be a team. Marriage can be a difficult compromise – where love truly exist why can a team prevail? I will never understand this. Your short stories are very clever.
You don’t have to beg me 😁

Oh! How often my heart reverberated such same sentiments from afar in it skipped beats as I in a near silence… just sighed.
