He knew that many others eyed her.
But he never stopped her from being herself.
For he also knew that she had eyes only for him.

Wonderful and subtly provocative at the same time, Mia. Definitely honors our annual resolution to get more exercise, At least our minds, anyhow.
How beautifully flattering is that, to have someone universally admired reserve herself for you? Most touching too. These are the materials of which a life’s love are constructed.
“Tiny” tale, but epic nonetheless.

Thank you for your grand appreciation of my tale by calling it epic. 🙂🙂🙂
Yes, it is flattering indeed! But isn’t it extremely flattering or rather relieving to have an emotionally secure person beside you who understands that?
There are so many people who just ask their partners to stop being a whole lot of themselves in order to not attract unnecessary attention, once they have committed. That, I think, is plain sad.

Agreed. What’s the point of winning someone’s affection if you turn around and begrudge her being, well, herself?
What is it do you think it is that attracted you in the first place? Are you insecure enough to fear another’s mere glance (or sigh) is enough to make her curb you?
Instead, thrill at the realization she still is “all that,” yet she’s chosen to share it with you.
