We all learn so much
Maths, Science, Literature.
But don’t learn to love.
We work hard for everything,
Understanding nothing comes easy.
But take love for granted.
We are afraid of risking
Our career and possessions.
But risk love at every step.
We know so much
About anything and everything.
But are lost when it comes to love.
We wish and wish
For magical love.
But don’t realize we have to practice love.
We crib and cry
About all worldly problems.
But don’t talk about love.
I wish we stop wishing.
I wish we start learning.
Let’s learn to love.

Quite perceptive. After all, very few people review their lives and wish they had dedicated more to academic/professional pursuits. While important, those endeavors don’t define our years, our legacies, as much as love does.
Decades hence, nobody’s going to remember you as the person who had a 3.92 GPA. However, if you care, and you made just one person’s burden lighter, that’s your immortality.
