That is the person I should be!

So prim and propah,
Then who will add
The clumsy genuine touch?

Oh! That is how I should dress.
That is the person I should be!
But then, if I too
Dress only in shades of grey,
Then who will add
Colours – bright and light?

Oh! That is how I should talk.
That is the person I should be!
But then, if I too
Think thrice before I speak,
Then who will add
The blatantly honest touch?

Oh! That is how I should deal.
That is the person I should!
But then, if I too
Become overtly smart,
Then who will add
The innocent touch?

Oh! That is how I should live my life.
That is the person I should be!
But then, if I too
Live by the head,
Then who will add
The heartfelt touch?

Oh! That is how I should be.
Show me every person I should be!
But then, if I too
Become someone else,
Then who
Will be me?

    People would like us to be different but living a lie can’t last forever!
    We ought to express the truth of ourselves. This is key.
